So, I was trying to understand how the enchantment table's book animation worked and found out that the flipping left page and the stationary left page are not the same!
Just this small bug, not something anyone would notice because that part of the book is only noticeable when its flipping pages.

Can confirm in 1.17.1. The texture can be found in assets/minecraft/textures/entity/enchanting_table_book.png.
btw I thought this was a bug because the right pages don't have any visual differences
