When holding a barrier block in your hand, it appears with the texture. However with the barrier blocks in your hand while looking at glass, the texture disappears.

As the tooltip when hovering over "Graphics" in the Video Settings says, "Fast" and "Fancy" do not have full support for particle rendering behind semi-transparent blocks. In order to achieve that, please use the "Fabulous" graphics mode.
Furthermore, please do not report issues occurring on a Paper server, as using modifications in any way invalidates a report.
