[MC-199407] Launcher not working

Launcher won't open minecraft. Reinstalled the game twice, java is already installed, but whenever i try to play it says to check configuration.

This looks like a duplicate of MCL-14369. If you take a look at the note on that report, it may fix your problem. Additionally, checking out the comments on that ticket may help you.

that didnt help and i went through the thread and none of those solutions worked either
