io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException:Connection timed out: no futher information

So basically I just got a new computer. Tried to go on a server of me and my close friends and the no connection "no further information" error popped up. I said ok, must be a fire wall thing. Messed with all the firewall (including allowing java) and no luck. I then proceeded to try on my old laptop which a day ago, I was able to go on the server. The same error message comes up. What really baffles me is that I am still able to direct connect to Mineplex. I had also just tried to plug in an ether net cable. It still no work. Any help would help thank you
