I've noticed for a while that vindicators suddenly stop to think for a second to pathfind to the player. This makes them easier to avoid. They also have a very hard time figuring out if tall grass is a bloc or not. I noticed this about 10 months ago but decided to report it now.

Actually I think this duplicates MC-198068, the issue describes basically the same thing and the report I made describes mobs randomly stopping their pathfinding if they were added below 1.15. And my video posted shows a zombie rapidly raising and lowering it's arms.
