[MC-201277] Chat not showing

For some reason, the chat isn't showing for me. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times already, and its still not working. I looked in chat settings, and toggled the chat option showing, commands only and then none.

What is Chat Opacity set to? Actually, just send a screenshot of the Chat Settings screen.

The screenshots are from 2 versions. 1.8.9 and 1.16.3. I added 1.8.9 because that is the main version I play. The first screenshot was from 1.8.9 and the second, is from 1.16.3

Try setting Chat Text Size to values other than OFF.
