Falling gravel and sand can pass through torches, red torches and signs that are on a wall

Also happens with levers and buttons.
If a block is directly below the item on the wall, the gravel/sand will turn into an entity as normal.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

This is still an issue with 1.6.2 (the latest release).
