Beacon beam doesn't pass through tinted glass

When tinted glass is above a beacon with a base, the beacon won't activate. It would be expected that the beacon beam can pass through the tinted glass since you can see through it.

They aren't meant to let beacon pass through. Tinted glass blocks the light like almost all of the other solid blocks and so they don't allow beacon to pass through.

Almost all is an interesting concept

Tinted glass is glass that blocks light. Presumably the beacon emits light.

Beacon beam is probably light, it would make sense. It disappears and appears at the speed of light - instantly. So this should be WAI logically
