For example, in the provided example, a rail attempts to curve and simultaneously connect to a rail on a block above, which is evidently impossible as climbing, curving rails do not exist in the game. A screenshot of the expected result is provided - much more block placement and manipulaton is required to get this configuration legitimately.
This behaviour has the potential to become annoying when building certain contraptions, as unwanted impossible connections can arise that require much more configuration than neccessary to undo.

This issue actually appears to be a duplicate of MC-188090.
Does MC-188090 describe this issue?
That one seems to predominantly concern flat rails and only mentions sloping rails on the side, and this ticket mainly concerns sloping rails.
I can confirm this works, but do not see how it is an issue.
