I was really exited for the 1.17 update to the Java Edition so I went on a snapshot. I wanted to see if copper would be mined faster, if you had to cook it, and if you don't have to cook it, how much will it give you. But the setblock command for copper came out as diamond. I tried all the other commands and coal came out as iron, iron came out as coal, and diamond came out as iron. I don't know what happened, but I figured it was a bug.

Hmm, this is very strange because I tried and they all set the right block. Maybe it's the command, I used
/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:block_name
I typed the command on a Superflat world in the void. I used /setblock 18 4 22 minecraft:coal and it came up as iron.
