Pistons not able to be crafted using blackstone

I found that pistons are not able to be crafted using blackstone. Like most other cobblestone recipes, blackstone should be able to replace cobble. However in this case it is not possible. I'm not sure if it is a combination of the wood type and blackstone but it doesn't work
