After launching, all buttons take multiple clicks to register in minecraft.

What I expected to happen was...:
Java would work normally and when I clicked any button, it would register immediately.

What actually happened was...:

Every now and then, I open java and everything I click takes multiple actual clicks to register. The only way I've been able to fix this was to restart Minecraft from the launcher. 

Steps to Reproduce:

I'm not sure. This has happened seemingly randomly for a long time, but never close enough together to warrant me to report it until now. It's happened in older versions, as well as vanilla minecraft and Optifine minecraft. I really wish I knew more but I'll try.

The only real step to get this bug is to open Minecraft. I'll open it from the launcher and every now and then, none of my clicks register and I have to exit the game and try again. It may be a macOS bug.
