So I am not sure if this is the right place to talk abt this and ask for help, but whenever I go on the mc launcher it says "oh no something went wrong and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services" and the play button says play offline so I researched it and I found someone who said that t just said that and that they could still join servers, so I tried that but now whenever I join a server it says something like "could not verify username" or "connection throttled, try again later" or "Not authenticated by Minecraft.net" please help

@Garifieldwxg55 yes i have just for a fresh start and it even dont load my skin nor connect to servers but it does let me do lan and also lan with mods please help
and yes mine is a microsoft ACC
Ok I got a solution for this
first open your files and write C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
then open it and look for :
127.0.0.1 sessionserver.mojang.com
127.0.0.1 authserver.mojang.com
if you see them delete them, save the file and see if it works
(it worked for me)
i have a microsoft account but i couldnt fix it because i didnt see this

I have a fresh install of Windows 8.1 tried multiple times to run the minecraft launcher installer only to not be able to connect to minecraft services for this account on my little ones computer. I installed my files from my computer just to get the launcher to even open. I still am having the same issue in the launcher that says it cant connect to the minecraft to verify. I have tried logging out of accounts on all sites and the launcher and trying to log back in and nothing... I noticed that the debug file says it cant reach or cant do something with the dns server. It is defiantly a internal dns problem with the game. It connects to the internet just fine and logs into her account just fine from in the launcher, but the part of the launcher and the game that needs to connect to the minecraft services is not reaching the server. same goes with a fresh mincraft installer. something is broken in the launcher code or something from the websites installer package. It cannot reach the services of minecraft.net please send a message on what to do about this. I have an original java addition minecraft game from the beginning and merged to Microsoft just fine from years ago and I purchased a second one on this account from Microsoft directly and it worked fine for months than one day it just stopped and now we cant get back in.\
Hmm, did you buy your Minecraft account recently by any chance? If so, are you using a Microsoft account?
