Sculk sensors are not activated upon wandering traders drinking milk or witches drinking potions

The Bug:

Sculk sensors are not activated upon wandering traders drinking milk or witches drinking potions.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Build the setup as shown in the attachment below.

  • Summon a wandering trader on the diamond block and a witch on the gold block.

  • Obtain a diamond sword and attack the witch twice.

  • Wait for it to drink a potion.

  • → ❌  Notice how when the witch drinks a potion, the sculk sensor doesn't activate.

  • Set the time to night so that the wandering trader drinks an invisibility potion.

  • → ✔  Notice how when the wandering trader drinks the invisibility potion, the sculk sensor activates as it should.

  • Set the time to day so that the wandering trader drinks some milk.

  • → ❌  Notice how when the wandering trader drinks some milk, the sculk sensor doesn't activate.

Observed Behavior:

Sculk sensors are not activated upon wandering traders drinking milk or witches drinking potions.

Expected Behavior:

Sculk sensors would be activated upon wandering traders drinking milk or witches drinking potions.

It also doesn't happen when wandering traders drink potions or milk.

I've updated the report accordingly. Thanks for the additional information.

Wandering traders drinking potions have been fixed however, themselves drinking milk has not. I've updated the ticket accordingly.

This issue was present in 22w12a, but no longer occurs in versions above or equal to 22w13a, meaning that this issue was fixed in 22w13a.
