"Invalid move player packet received" when going above 30000000 on y axis

Duplicate of MC-123587!

⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT DO THIS IN A WORLD YOU CARE ABOUT! YOU WILL GET LOCKED OUT OF YOUR WORLD!

Reproduce:

1. Run /spawnpoint @s 0 30000000 0
2. Die (/kill)
3. Respawn
->❌
Invalid move player packet received

Note 1: 30000000 (found in step 1) can be any number between 30000000 and 2147483647.

Note 2: If you edit your level.dat world file, you can edit your position. Allowing you to use the world once again.

Can confirm. Trying to reenter the world returns the same error again, so doing this effectively locks you out of the world.

This bug isn't about the spawnpoint issue; it's about the "Invalid move player packet received" when going too high.

i have also seen this issue but on 1.12.2
