A textbox opens telling me to do stuff and that stuff isn't working

When i try to open up minecraft the launcher works fine but, when i open a version it either crashes or shows me the screen provided. i have followed the link and have done what it told me to do but it still won't work. i don't know what to do at this point. if you can help in  any way i would be very gratefull
