[MC-211717] never needs a torch

when i play any game singleplayer or multiplayer it doesnt need a torch to light up the area around that means its always light up for me and i dont need torchs when i go in a cave

What is your "Brightness" setting set to? Did you ever edit your options.txt file manually or switch between older and newer versions?

Possibly using Fullbright (recourse pack). Or maybe you are using dynamic lighting on Optifine?

yes i did swich between versions and no i dont mess with files i dont have night vision in i dont download cheats i dont use optifine it happened the first time i opened minecraft for the first time ever
