I have already left a bug report for this issue and it was marked as resolved when it is not. I'm using Minecraft Java edition 1.16.5 and I can't fly in creative mode. I've tried everything I can find online and even tried switching the jump key to a different key but I still can't fly. I've played Minecraft before on much older computers with no issue, and my laptop runs other games just fine. As far as I can tell all other features of the game work just fine but I can't fly in creative mode.
If someone could ACTUALLY help me that would be lovely.

you should just save your saves (go to [if windows] C:\Users[your user here]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves) then copy them to a safe place. then after that uninstall minecraft and all of its components. Re-install minecraft, put your save files back, and your done! if that does not work then i dont know what will
Hmm are you using any 3rd party software (data packs, mods, server plugins etc)? If not, can you provide a video of the glitch occurring with F3 enabled?
