i've had minecraft for about a week now and i still cant change my skin or join servers.
i've tried changing my skin from the minecraft browser and the minecraft launcher and it shows that i changed my skin but when i load into my world im just steve.
i tried joining servers like hypixel over and over but it wont work , i dont remember what message it showed before but now it just says " Failed to log in: The authentication servers are currently down for maintenance.
its been around a week and it still says that , i tried logging in and out reinstalling minecraft multiple times but nothing is working, i think it might be because minecraft thinks my account is fake or sm but i bought it with money :/
Can someone help i waited months to play and idk if its because im stupid or
