[MC-214386] Ive purchased Java edition but when I download it I only get a Play in Demo World option

Tried to download a few times but keep getting the same problem. Not sure what I am doing wrong?

I had the same problem, you just have to log in with your microsoft account, and thats it

This is a billing issue, and the bug tracker cannot do anything about it

I have tried to log on wit my Microsoft account, unfortunately the issue still remains. Even though I have received the receipt in my email the game does not populate in my account.

This sounds like a launcher bug, not a minecraft Java edition bug.
