You can only unlock the crafting recipe for a Bundle with string and not leather despite leather being the main ingredient to craft with

Reproduce

  • Get Leather
    ❌ Bundle crafting recipe not unlocked

  • Get String
    ✔ Bundle crafting recipe unlocked

@Jake Samuels because its like saying collecting iron unlocks the piston recipe instead of wood planks

Even outside of experiments, it still happens in 24w40a

Parity issue as well: In Bedrock Edition, you can unlock the recipe when you obtain Leather.
