Pointed dripstone does not shatter in mid-air when placed by a command

This bug report is a parity issue with Bedrock.

Summary:

In the bedrock version, when placing a pointed dripstone in the air with the command - it breaks. In Java, it will remain "flying" in the air.

I believe this is done correctly in the bedrock as the pointed dripstone should break without support like similar blocks (even when placed with commands)

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Stand in the air.

  2. Write the command:

/setblock ~ ~ ~ pointed_dripstone

Observed Results:
Pointed dripstone will be placed and will not break.

Expected results:

The pointed dripstone will be placed but will break immediately.

Notes:

Don't say this is a known parity issue between versions! For example, the grass is placed in both versions in the air)

Yes. This is naturally a duplicate of this report, but since this is a parity problem, I think that developers should take this into account)

For moderators:
this is the parity problem! And it needs to be solved. So don't you dare close this report) 😉
