Cant open servers

When I try to join a server it says "Authentication servers are currently down for maintence". This happens to ever single server that isn't cracked. I bought minecraft java from the official minecraft server, i haven't installed a cracked version however I can only join cracked Minecraft Servers. This has been happening ever since I bought it, and it worked on my Chromebook but not my Windows 10 which is my main gaming console. I'm so disappointed and I really want it fixed or I'll regret wasting my money.
