Slime block bounce doesn't work if you land on the edge of the block.

I've been trying out slime blocks in the nether in case I wanted to go deep and nullify fall damage without a water bucket (obviously because you can't place water in the nether), and I noticed that if you land on the edge of the slime block, the bounciness doesn't work and you take damage.
