Didn't understand. Yes, I'm using a resource pack.

This doesn't occur for me for either wooden or iron doors in the latest snapshot (1.6.2). It isn't a directional quirk (north-south, etc.).

Try to put carpets on front of two doors and behind the doors another carpet.
Why my MC open doors with carpets?

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

You placed the doors so that their natural position was opened. Duplicate of MC-3582.
