The fossils were removed but the coal ore was not.

Kai Maldinado. It should not be deepslate diamond ore because of the y level = 0. Deepslate diamond ore only generate if fossils are below y = 0.

A potential PERMANENT fix for this would be to make it so that everything in the #features_cannot_replace tag generate last in world generation. Might be difficult with stuff like spawners, but possible.
