Been playing on this world since January and have had the odd luck of always running out of hunger as I entered the end. But today I finally learned to look at my hunger bar as I entered and... I seen it deplete fast. So I recorded myself entering 5 more times (respawn point over the portal)
Upon entering the end hunger may suddenly lose 0-10+ points
Variables may be holding sprint, holding crouch, or being in water, as I was getting hungry while entering before the conduit was in place. (Video description has shift/control keys held in video documented)
Edit: Did it again in vanilla (no fabric) and it happened on 2 for 2 tests, the second one loosing 10 hunger points

Same day: did not hold shift or control, and lost several points of hunger

Alright, finally got around to re-recording that footage with F3 showing, decided to test after updating because I was on Paper, but now I'm on vanilla 1.17 and it still happens
this happens when you enter an end portal while in water, reproduceable 100% of the time, have a lit end portal with a water source above it and enter the end portal. Make sure you are not moving or swimming and you just sink into the end portal for it to be reproduceable.
