[MC-227683] player continues to move forward in creative even when you stop pressing forward

when trying to build in creative you move to reach a location but the momentum makes you fly past it making it extremely difficult to build normally. in bedrock there is no crazy momentum like this for creative.

I feel like this is intended and personally also prefer this behavior over the Bedrock (Creative) movement

please reopen. this is not a feature request but inconsistency with bedrock edition where there is no sliding around.

Parity issues are only accepted for features added in 1.15 and above. Unless this sliding mechanic was introduced in Buzzy Bees or later, this issue is not valid.
