Related to and basically the opposite of MC-199559.
The bug
If you set your brightness to bright and you have night vision, certain light levels make the blocks appear greenish.
Steps to reproduce
Set brightness to +100% Bright
Give yourself night vision
Go in a cave and find some flowing lava.--> ❌ Notice the blocks about 7 blocks away look dark and greenish

Hmm, I don't really see any green there?

If you look closer to the lava the stone blocks are a more naturally, metallic bluish-grey but further from the lighting they almost appear like an olive green colour. If you want I can attach a comparison using the hex codes.

This appears to be the same as MC-199559. The light is not greener, it is actually darker and more yellow/orange.

Yeah, so I see what causes this. This is an indirect result of MC-199559.
The reason this happens far away from the light source and not close to it as in the case of the aforementioned report is because that is tested at Moody brightness, which is dimmer, similar to how the distance effect dims the light.

This can be resolved as a duplicate of MC-199559, but please update the description of that bug to say that it is caused by dim light caused by both 1.) distance from the light source or 2.) low brightness settings. Right now that bug doesn't mention anything about distance from the light source, and in the comments it is suggested that that bug is only present on Moody.
