When I play the vanilla version of the game on the official minecraft launcher my game is stuck at 60fps.

I have had this issue with the game for a long time, about a month, and it is just plane frustrating to deal with.  I could only play the game at a higher resolution if I use a modded client like curse forge, or I download a mod that allows my game to be in windowed borderless which solves the issue.  I have to say this is also only happening on full screen an not in windowed mode.  This does not happen in the bedrock version, and in many other games like Rainbow Six Siege and many other call of duty titles.  I have tried turning off and on vsync, which did nothing, and changing the fps slider to multiple different things to no avail.  When my fps is on unlimited, it will say the game is running over 60 fps, but my monitor is not running over 60fps.

Are you using a laptop?
Did you check your graphics vendors control panels for a FPS lock? (Geforce Experience, Nvidia controlpanel and so on)

I am using a custom built pc and i have checked all of that.

Do you have VSync turned on?

turning it off and on does not matter, on it will lock my fps at 60, but off it will say that my fps is higher, but again my monitor will only output 60fps.

What is your Max Framerate set to?

is no one going to help anymore?

What is the actual refresh rate of your monitor? Make sure that VSync is off and that the fullscreen resolution option actually indicates that the resolution and framerate match native
