[MC-229455] game crashes while in empty world without blocks

I've made a new world, completely empty, no villages or even blocks (so I removed all the world layers in superflat). But when I join the world it will crash the game, not instantly, but might take around a minute.

Also, before one of the crashes, I saw the texture that should be invisible, the standard png background, just flickering on my screen.

Were you using mods? Please add a screenshot with F3 debug enabled.

I can't find a crash report of it, just I did find the folder and the only crash report that there was, came from Februari already

The crash report can be found in minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt. Please attach this to the ticket and it will help find the cause of this problem. Thanks 😃
