Lily Pads don't break when you place a block under them, leaving them on top of solid dry blocks which they shouldn't do.

Hi there!
Lily pads do break when you place a block underneath them, however, blocks that can be water-logged are an exception so long as there's water underneath them. What does this mean? It means that if you place a solid block (Such as stone) it will break, but if you place a non-full block (like stairs or slabs) it will remain.

That is intended, because that stair became waterlogged, and all waterlogged blocks support lily pads (MC-127588).
