Map dissapearing when clicking on itemframe containing them

When a map is in an itemframe and clicked on to be retrieved, it dissapears.

Same thing happens with the itemframes

I don't think this is the same issue as the item frame has been placed on the side of a wall. With that being said, what was the "doEntityDrops" gamerule set to?
