The bug
When you lead an animal, it will have a small area to walk in that doesn't go beyond the lead limits.
If you tamed a cat and went sleeping it will come and sleep on your bed and in the morning it will be outside, hunting chickens.
You leashed your cat into a fence in your house the cat still finds a way to 'teleport' outside, the amount of blocks it can walk through while leashed is tiny so it can't simply go outside, resulting it to be stuck outside the house (if the lead is near enough)
What I expected
Once I leash the cat on a fence it shouldn't go outside anymore and basically not trying to follow me
Steps to reproduce
Put a fence next to your bed and leash the your cat into it, then go to sleep. The cat will be sent outside your house

In the images:
> A cat managed to teleport outside while leashed to the house making it be stuck
> The fence in the house is basically tied into the cat outside the house, the cat no longer can go inside.
> I tied a cat into the top of the house (in order to test if the cat will drop the lead and go far away, impossible for a cat to do it itself.) And yes, the cat managed to somehow cut the lead and and go outside the house
Also, dogs and cats will teleport to you if you got far, even if you leashed them.

Probably not, the cat is still tied to the fence, I even tied it in the top of the house, it's supposed to stay still in the ceiling.
The cat has to be sat with right click or whatever platform you play on. It has to be sat down for it to not follow you. Also, for it to not go outside you have to sit it inside.
That's not the issue. No entity can move all that distance while leashed, or at least cut the leash itself.
Also, just to add on, I'm in no place of authority to tell you what's right and wrong but due to past examples and experiences, it's been made clear that you shouldn't change the "Category" field of your ticket as this is only for moderators/Mojang employees to change.
⚠️ Please don't try to change "Category". It may only be changed by the developers and the moderators.
Not too sure but I think this is a duplicate of MC-191904.
