Minecraft Textures

2 weeks ago my Minecraft was working perfectly, however as of today the sprites have changed to a much earlier version. (Blocks, Items, etc) When I attempted to change the version, the texture stayed the same. I would like this to be examined because the texture is getting irritating to look at.
