Not sure about this one. Parity issues are only accepted for features 1.15+, and Bedrock behaviour was present before Buzzy Bees. So this issue should be reported to Bedrock bug tracker first and then to Java bug tracker if the resolution is WAI.
The whole idea with "Johnny" vindicators is they attack all things. So this clearly seems like an oversight from the change with illagers not attacking baby villagers.
Another oversight is that illagers can no longer win raids if there are any baby villagers in the village MC-236645
Unfortunately, there is no point of doing so, since this was present before the snapshot came out, therefore meaning that "Johnny" Vindicators attacking baby villagers is intentional.
@Sniper1.1 if devs consider it intended, then the issue needs to be reported to the bedrock bug tracker (MCPE-141939).
@Dimitry Konev of course they would mark MCPE-141939 as “will not fix”. Such an easy parity fix and they won’t address it. This recent snapshot they partially addressed these differences. Why not go all the way? These parity differences make me irrationally angry and the fact that they did somewhat address illager parity only to refuse to go all the way really bothers me. I feel like the devs have said they care about parity, but they sure don’t seem too eager to actually work on old parity issues and now they refuse to address this one. I’m irrationally mad about this small difference.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Minecraft and the devs. I’m not trying to bully them here. I’m just unhappy with this decision.
So I guess that makes this a feature request. Very well. I have taken to Reddit to make a suggestion on the Minecraft suggestions subreddit. I’d also take to the official feedback site, but my account there’s been bugged for years so I can’t sign in. (I’m fully expecting that post to be removed though so we’ll see how long it’s available.)
A lot of illager-like mobs won't attack baby villagers anymore as of this snapshot. I therefore think this might be intentional, no?
