I created a world in single player and after 2 days uploaded it to realms to play with friends. After upload, my locator maps did not show other players on the server. I made new ones thinking that might have been the issue, but that did not work either.
I had players log off and then back on, and I did as well, but there are still no other players showing up on the maps. I don't know why this is happening and after a scrub of the settings, I can't find anything that prevents other players from showing up on locator maps.
Is this a current problem with the game? I've not had this issue before, but I haven't played for months and was unaware of this being a broken item currently in 1.17.1.

Which versions of Minecraft feature maps that show all players? I've used this version my entire time playing and have never had this happen.

In java edition, maps only show maps, not every player. This is a parity issue, but predates the buzzy bees update, thus is not accepted here.
