[MC-23836] Arrow deflects

In Creative mode in superflat redstone ready map
fired arrow horizontally
appeared to deflect
hit a spider
when it did not hit it disappeared into the ground

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
