Drowned are not water mobs

Drowned are an undead water mob but the game only sees them as undead.

This makes it so smite works on them but impaling does not.

This is frustrating for players living underwater and / or using a trident as a main weapon, as the trident does not deal bonus damage with impaling to drowned.

It would make logical sense for drowned to also be considered water mobs and would also give tridents another use case.

(This could also be fixed by reworking Impaling to do bonus damage when the player is in water)

This is not a duplicate. That bug is impaling not affecting drowned as they are not a water mob.

This is about drowned not being considered a water mob when they should be.

The actual bug has nothing to do with tridents or impaling (which is working as intended).

It works as intended because Drowned, while happy underwater, are classified as undead mobs rather than water mobs

Meaning it is intentional that they're not water mobs. Impaling effect is just a side effect of the classification.
