When the item frame with lodestone compass is placed on the lodestone, the lodestone compass will rotate randomly.
Reproduce
Get a lodestone, item frame & compass
Link the compass to the lodestone
Place an item frame on top of the lodestone and place the lodestone compass in the frame
Observed Result
The lodestone compass kept spinning
Expected Result
The lodestone compass wouldn't spin

To which direction should the lodestone compass then point?
According to me, The compass should uniformly spin in one direction, and not stand still, like it is in real world.
This issue is almost certainly because the compass is sitting at the block center, so the distance between the lodestone and the compass is counted as zero. You can see this with the player as well, if you stand perfectly in the center the compass starts to spin.
