Edge of savanna plateau too high beside jungle

Hi,

I have found a problem when I walked new generated terrain - savanna plateau biome, and suddenly I came to its edge, where jungle was seen down before me. I stayed at Y=128 and jungle down there was something more than Y=63, which looks like savanna terrain generated some different way, I think like 1.17 version of Minecraft.

I play seed 7189465689473364810 and when I started playing this world, it was snapshot 21w38a. No problem with other biomes yet, it has been first savanna and first jungle I saw in 21w42a. I visited mountains, plains, woods, taiga etc. before and everything was well generated, until have found this.

This is the edge between new and old generation. Smoothing out the generation is a feature request.

When snapshot 21w42a was out, I believed last world generation tweaks will show if new chunks are loaded, and those chunks were loaded today. So there is no possibility they were loaded using any previous snapshot method since new snapshots should be compatible with previous. If I played world older than 1.17 then this is completely logical, but why in newest snapshot should any biome generate this way?

Because between snapshots, generation changed too, and no blending of old to new chunks exists (yet).

This is the same world loaded  in 21w44a, same place, but biome generated is different. Also, do you see any sign of blending betwen chunks? At the same time, blending was introduced in 21w43a, or no?
