Weird Swamp Lag Spike

There seems to be that there is two biomes of the swamp that both have the same name: swamp. When going between them it creates a weird lag spike as seen in the video. I also put in my video settings just in case you need them.

I am aware that I have those settings on but the lag spike only activates when I go through those two swamp biomes and not anywhere else.

Please let us know the seed is this is a freshly generated world. If this is an upgraded world, then we will need the world save. Thank you.

It is a fresh world. It still works with the pre 4 as well.Β

This is because you are crossing a chunk border, so this is a duplicate of either MC-162253 or MC-166005.

Ok! What a coincidence! Thanks for clearing it up for the Mojang people!

Well it isn't a coincidence, biomes are chunk based, so crossing biomes means crossing chunks
