The Bug:

Magma blocks can generate inside of icebergs.

Here is an example:

Version: 1.19.3

Seed: 4373241205666815302
Coordinates: /execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s -174800.35 61.00 -27463.65 -313.83 19.90

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Generate a world with the seed provided above and teleport to the given coordinates.

  2. Look closely at the magma blocks.

  3. Take note as to whether or not magma blocks can generate inside of icebergs.

Observed Behavior:

Magma blocks can generate inside of icebergs.

Expected Behavior:

Magma blocks would not be able to generate inside of icebergs.

Rechecked, turns out this bug was fixed in 1.18 pre-6.

Hi, I just loaded up an instance of 1.19 to test if this issue has been fixed as currently mentioned in this ticket and after some thorough investigating, it turns out this behavior is still present in 1.19 and has not been fixed in 1.18 Pre-release 6, therefore I'm requesting for this ticket to be reopened. I was able to find another occurrence of this, and you can use the new information provided below to reproduce this problem.
