After a long time I was able to reproduce this glitch.
What I expected to happen was...:
The sun would rise as normal
What actually happened was...:
The sun produces weird texture artifacts and twitches in the sky.
Steps to Reproduce:
Make a world with the seed 5471080089628151582
Environment
Java 17.0.1 64Bit
CPU: 4x Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @3.30GHz
Display: 854x480 (NVIDIA Corporation)
GeForce GTX 950/PCIe/SSE2
4.6.0 NVIDIA 432.00
