What I expected would happen: As new chunks are generated using different world terrain generation settings than old chunks, the terrain would blend so as to smoothly transition between the 2 types of terrain.
What actually happens: The blending doesn't happen, and chunk cliffs occur as a result, similar to old versions of Minecraft, as if world blending isn't real.

Here you go... I will note that the different world names and terrain are because I was trying to swap around level.dat files from worlds generated in different ways so as to test world blending.
Can't do anything without your world file. Please update with a copy of the affected world.
