Multicolored beacon beams can impact frame rate performance

The bug

Multicolored beacon beams can cause a heavy FPS decrease compared to non-colored or single-colored beams. This can be an issue when a large amount of multicolored beacons are placed around for decoration purposes or other reasons.

How to reproduce

  1. Place a 3x3 of beacons on a pyramid

  2. Place around 12-24 or more stained glass/panes with different colors per beacon beam

  3. Notice the frame rate, results might differ on hardware

Normal FPS: around 130
If you use stained glass panes, you should be able to place less
I place 52 layers of stained glass in full and the FPS dropped to around 35

I can reproduce the issue, can be reproduced with torch or other light sources as well(FPS drop dependent on gamma and glass used).

I am unable to reproduce this issue, could you confirm that you can still reproduce this issue on the latest version?
If so, could you provide an updated screenshot of the FPS?

I also cannot reproduce on the latest.

I can still reproduce this in 24w46a, here's two screenshots showing the issue:

Additionally, I attached a world so it can be reproduced easily.

Note that the frame rate impact may vary between machines. In this case, the impact is very high on a low end pc.

I can somewhat reproduce: java version is making it worse.

the torch and other light sources seem fixed.
