All Sculk Sensors within range of the player detect vibrations from it, regardless of what it is doing. They activate even if the player is walking on wool, although vibrations are correctly blocked by wool blocks. The Warden is affected in a similar manner.
EDIT : Issue was caused by command blocks set up earlier in the world, which I forgot to disable while testing.

It's not just related to walking on the edge of wool. Sculk sensors and Wardens detect me all the time, regardless of what I do. The only way to prevent it is being separated directly by wool.
sometimes when you are on edge of the wool it dosent detect and sends a vibration could this be it?
becouse wool works fine on my end
