The Bug:
Sometimes frogs can jump over things onto heights that will damage them, eventually leading to death if left in an area that allows for this.
I'm unsure of the specifics, but from my observation if a frog has to jump over something, especially something like a fence or wall, it wont take into account the height in which it will be falling from and take damage.
The build in the video showcases how there are scenarios in which this can happen.
-----------------------------
They also seem to be able to jump randomly with no blocks in the way and it up jumping too high, causing fall damage, as indicated by this clip of a youtube video I found:

Dupe of MC-250423.
Actually, I may have some proof this is its own separate issue. I initially thought it only jumped as high as it did to jump over the fence in the build, however, and apologies for the very unconventional method, I was watching a youtube video and noticed that a frog still jumped too high and took damage despite no small blocks being in the way.
I was able to clip it, so I'm sending the clip here as proof that frogs can apparently do this regardless of the types of blocks around them. As you can see in the clip, it was just a grassy field:

Requesting this to be reponed as its own report
This seems to me like a case of MC-250423. This also relates to MC-249194.
