When players take damage from non-projectile sources like fire or falling, they don't emit vibrations. Crouching does not affect this either. This is inconsistent with other mobs as they produce virbrations from all damage sources

Not completely. The player also doesn't trigger vibrations when damaged from other sources like falling, fire, and instant harming.
So it's just non-projectiles? I think that report is misleading, as it actually is all damage sources, but projectiles hitting anything (entities or blocks) make vibrations too.
Cannot reproduce this in 1.21 when trying to with fire, and falling damage. When taking damage from these sources, the player emits a vibration to nearby sensors. Could you please verify that you can still reproduce this issue, and if so, add clear steps to reproduce it?
