I had searched for other reports regarding this issue but I couldn't find one on this behavior even though it seems like something that would have already of been reported, but a ravager's head will glitch out if it dies at the beginning of its attack.
To see the glitch in action, spawn a ravager and have it attack something like a villager or iron golem, then while its head is extending, kill it and see that while it's in its death animation, its head will spaz out like crazy for some reason. You can use the following command below to summon a ravager with 1 hp to make it easier to test this.
/summon minecraft:ravager ~ ~ ~ {Health:1,Attributes:[{Name:"generic.max_health",Base:1f}]}
This is also easier to see if wearing thorns armor but this may just be a duplicate ticket as I just can't seem to find anyone else reporting this bug.

I don't know how to take a video of this in action, and every screenshot I take doesn't show it in action. The only easy way I know how to do it is to have the ravager attack you and die to you wearing thorns as it guarantees that this bug happens. The command I had provided makes it easier to perform this bug, as the ravager only has one health and will die on contact to the player wearing thorns, demonstrating this bug in action.
I've attached a video of this:
[media]For future reference, here's how to record Minecraft gameplay:
If you are on Windows, you can use
Windows
+Alt
+R
to open a built-in app for recording game footage.
If you are on Mac (Mojave or later), you can useShift
+Command
+5
to open a built-in app for recording your screen.
In case you don't have a program to record videos, we recommend using the free recording software OBS.
Please add a screenshot or a video.
